Collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

1. Services Provided

Photographer agrees to provide professional wedding photography services on the Event Date and at the Venue(s) specified below:

Photography coverage will include, but is not limited to:

  • Pre-ceremony coverage

  • Ceremony

  • Family and group portraits

  • Couple portraits

  • Reception coverage (as applicable to package)

  • Delivery of edited digital images

The scope of coverage shall be determined by the package selected by the Client.

2. Selected Package & Fees

Client agrees to retain Photographer for the following package:

There is a 50% non-refundable retainer for the day of your wedding. If there is an act-of-God in the life of the photographer I will find a replacement photographer for the event. This will be communicated directly to the wedding planner or bride.

 • Coverage for additional event(s) agreed upon in writing

3. Payment Terms

  1. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the Event Date.

  2. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than ___ days before the Event Date.

  3. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of services without refund of retainer.

4. Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

  • Provide a detailed schedule of the wedding day at least ___ days prior to the Event Date.

  • Secure necessary permissions for Photographer and any assistant(s) at event locations.

  • Notify Photographer of any changes to the schedule or event locations.

5. Delivery of Images

Photographer agrees to deliver edited digital images via secure online gallery or USB within ___ weeks after the Event Date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client understands that exact number of final images varies based on event timing and conditions.

6. Image Rights & Usage

  • Photographer retains copyright to all images.

  • Client is granted a non-exclusive, personal use license to print and share images.

  • Photographer may use images for promotional purposes (website, social media, portfolio) unless Client provides written notice restricting such use.

7. Cancellation & Postponement

  • If Client cancels this Agreement, the retainer shall be retained by Photographer as liquidated damages.

  • If Client postpones the Event Date, Photographer agrees to make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability and possible additional fees.

8. Limitation of Liability

Photographer’s liability for any claim related to this Agreement shall be limited to the total amount of fees paid by the Client. Photographer is not liable for events beyond their control, including weather issues, venue restrictions, equipment failure, or other circumstances.

9. Force Majeure

If performance of this Agreement is prevented by events beyond Photographer’s control (e.g., natural disaster, illness, travel restrictions), the Parties will work to reschedule the coverage or agree on a refund of monies paid minus the non-refundable retainer.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions. Any modification must be in writing and signed by both Parties.
